Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust
Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust has contracted AxSys Technology to provide a phased implementation of a trust wide clinical information system.
A spokesman for the Trust stated:
"Northumbria Healthcare Trust are delighted to have signed a contract with AxSys technology to develop the Electronic patient record.
We are looking forward to a long-term collaborative working relationship with AxSys Technology and have been very encouraged with the high standard of work and support AxSys have already delivered. AxSys Technology have excellent clinical and technical skills which were prime reasons for selecting them to meet the challenges in a Trust with over 7000 staff."
Working in partnership with the trust, AxSys have developed both a Respiratory Clinical module and a Coloposcopy Clinical Review system for their Excelicare platform. The trust has already indicated their interest in additional systems to be provided by AxSys.
