Colposcopy Information System
A Colposcopy Information System has been successfully running in Northumbria NHS Trust since 2003. The aim of the CIS is to manage the clinical pathway for women requiring colposcopic diagnosis and treatment, using an electronic patient record. The pathway will be from referral, through to discharge and data collected will be auditable against National Cancer Standards. Letters can be automatically created, pulling information from the patient record.
