	Mail can be sent to any site via the Internet or through the NHS Net.
	All forms in the patient folder can be attached to the mail. This includes multi-media items, including radiology images in any format, photographs, scanned documents and lab data.
	Security and confidentiality of data is ensured by the use of encryption routines and specified access rights to patient records.
	The system provides the functionality of a standard mail package including an Address book.
	A Correspondence folder within each patient's record enables patient specific mail to be stored in the record.
	Print functionality is included, providing an interface to existing paper records.
