AxSys Technology strives to be a market leader in the provision of healthcare software solutions. Product quality and customer satisfaction are priority. We have developed an open and systematic approach to heed our clients' suggestions and requirements when modifying our solutions and services thus ensuring that all aspects of software production receive continuous improvement.

In order to maintain our market position all adequate, relevant and appropriate quality assurance controls have been implemented.

AxSys has achieved accreditation from the International Standards Organisation (ISO). In satisfying ISO requirements, practices are reviewed and performance measured on an ongoing basis.

Our Quality Framework
Our quality framework is based on the following procedures which include:
Complete product Configuration Management via a delta-based repository: used for all source code and product documentation and includes a user-based checkin/checkout mechanism to ensure integrity of source materials and traceability for changes.
Product release procedures including Build Configuration Management, release checklists, integration testing and subsystem testing sign-off by test leaders / senior software engineers.
QA coordinators at both sites who communicate daily by Videoconference and other traditional and electronic means.
Use of a qualified ISO9001/TickIT Auditor to perform internal quality system audits to confirm compliance with our quality management system, and help identify process improvements.
Incident tracking database system for recording issues and monitoring them through to completion, including log of source code affected by the incidents.
Published in-house Coding Standards, including rigorous procedures for unit testing and code walkthroughs.
Testing and regression testing to predefined test scripts and sample data, including functional testing, load testing, security testing and exception testing.
Task and project tracking.
Formalised process for Risk Management and risk tracking.
Formalised process for Subcontractor management and Component Vendor selection.
Backup and security policy, including disaster recovery plan, secure offsite backup of project data and virus-screening procedures.

Visits to AxSys facilities
Visits to AxSys facilities at Glasgow and Hyderabad may be arranged for anyone who wishes to visit. The visit may be arranged by contacting the Office Administrator, Mrs Catherine Laurie, on 0141-952 6316. To ensure suitable availability of technical personnel, a 48 hours prior notice is required for any onsite visit. The AxSys HealthTech facilities at Hyderabad, India, are also available for inspection by prior arrangement.
